General
Community activeties have moved on during the Christmas and New Yera break with on average a full 5 new members weekly some of which are actively participating in all we provide some which are not, thats just the way of such forum/community groups sadly no matter what we say or what we do it will always be the same untill YOU our members take more of an interest in what we do and wish to help us to grow into the fun family freindly community we know we can be, all we need is your participation.........

Forums
Forum life ambles on somewhat as expected with enough to keep us ever changing but not enough to keep our frequent users busy it like the main site is a balancing act as to what to have included and what not to, many areas NEED much more attention and far more input to make really great, all our library is growing but could also do with a lot more specific information in a kind of search all areas and finding what you want ......... Our FREE for sale and wanted areas again is woefully underused this i simply cannot get to grips with!! we weekly have people emailing and asking online for Transporters it cost nothing but a few minutes to post them where other sites charge for the privelage...... we have opened our new T4 -T5 Camping Club part of the forum now which we hope will inspire some to join in with the view of providing family TRANSPORTER themed and related meets in the coming season...

We still as always badly require your input, your build guides, your images and/or your travelogues along with any sort of technical or how to information to help boost and answer a lot of the questions asked of us, all can be either directly uploaded to the site/community or sent for inclusion direct to me at t4club@live.co.uk

Im afraid its a short Transporter Talk this month due to family and health constraints i just don't have the available time to spend this time around but worry not i will be back bigger and better next month

We would like to wish all our valued members a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year... When they duly arrive….

It may just be that the majority of the country is currently snowbound, I know we are with as I write this around 1.5ft of lying snow on the roof of my motor home and unable to move it currently but let’s not be downhearted, let’s use this spare time we have to better and add to our community ahead of some changes early next year, we need all your this year’s information, submissions, images and suggestions to the usual addresses please for inclusion let's proverbially together make haste whilst we can as they say….

Thank & Praise Round-up

A big thank you firstly to all our members who have donated information, time and energy to our cause whether via forum posts, attending one of our meets or in some other way, without this type of generosity, your community simply could/would not happen.

Likewise our thanks are due please be upstanding for [drum roll please] to the two hardest working members here-in [next to myself of course] who operate on your behalf as first off - Social Convener [Listensqueak – Known to most as Chas] and our equally hardworking Secretary [RS Rob – known to most as Rob] who tirelessly work to both promote and arrange our meets, whilst supplying never ending streams of both technical advice and wit, as well as a million of other tasks with-in the back ground of your community it goes without saying these guys are indeed much needed and respected members in our community without which the community simply wouldn’t be here, along with a max respect to my long suffering partner Yvonne, who some have met and will therefore know puts up with me living T4 –T5 Club UK every single day of life for the past 2.5yrs [a medal should be cast for her alone] and lastly but far from least our official photographer "Azz” who takes our photographs when we are out and about at all the various meets/shows we attend, and not of course forgetting Jim Our Logo Designer for all his hard work.

Thanks and praise indeed is asked for a variety of members in the trade who have supported us all throughout this past year, in a variety of ways, to those willing to allow us to product sample to those who supply us with technical information, both practically and in written forms, big up to each and of course everyone of you, all of whom know well who you are, in particular to Danbury our main clubs sponsors for the second year now running and to several others from throughout the past years. all of which has gotten us this far. CHEERS.... [the big news is we are working alongside a new sponsor for 2011, details of which will follow when completed, that without doubt will help us immensely through 2011 to become better known, used and recognised, look out for details to be duly announced shortly]

Continued Growth

Our community is undoubtedly growing day on day, month on month and gaining ground now and new members as we do so, this coming season 2011, will see us out and about bigger and better than we have before with a whole new vigor, new meets, new events, new branding with club merchandising on its way to show the whole of the UK what we are and what we are about, help us to do just that by making better use of your community, thus showing new members or visitors just exactly what they are missing by not being a part of our happy, sociable, friendly but most of all equal community.

Meets/Events

It is with great pleasure we announce a change to our previous events/meets schedules with all new themed regional meets alongside our usual general club meets and shows with-in shows we carried out last year, the completed timetable/events list is not yet ready but when it is we suggest that if you are interested in any particular meet/event you get your name down as soon as possible for them to avoid disappointment, we really need to see more members attending however to make these meets worthwhile carrying out, with numbers last year, not spectacular it’s up to you guys if you want meets you have to attend them by doing regional’s its hoped in that they should then be far closer to you so that more should attend, it takes a lot to arrange such meets so please if at all possible attend your local meets and support your Regional Convener, it is often not only a themed meet but a chance to get together talk Transporters swap ideas, see each other’s modifications in real time and practically assist one another with a whole raft of issues, let alone some of our round the campfire times are now legendary to say the least…… if you have not yet attended one feel free to drop in even as just a day visitor to any we host this coming year, details will be posted in due course in our all new T4 – T5 Club Camping Forum [It pretty much goes without saying that If our meets/events are not supported they might have to be forgotten about altogether which would be a grave shame as many have so enjoyed the ones we have had immensely, if for no other reason than to slag off me its truly worth the effort]

Forum Content

I am sure all will agree there are some excellent pieces of information now gathering in both our "How To” sections and likewise in our growing "Library” section, all of which is great research materials for all new and likewise experienced owners alike, with little to no real usable manuals available for our models we have to rely on each other for such information which is why the "How To” section is very important, to be able to help each and every owner of each and every model to overcome and repair, modify or better their chosen model whatever the particular task they require information upon our aim is to cover every task required to keep our vehicles on the road however menial! as not everyone has the same levels of basic knowledge and may require assistance with any number of tasks hence we ask that ALL areas, ALL tasks large and small are transformed into "How To’s” as you carry them out, [it takes a little of your time to take step by step images and write about what you are doing we fully appreciate that but it helps so many that it really is so worth doing] so what are you waiting for?? Whilst in the winter months with little else to do help us to help us all by getting your How To’s and other Information sources off to us today, it’s only by all contributing that we can grow to be able to supply answers to the majority of posters questions, and thus be able to help those owners, without doubt "FREE” knowledge sharing is what it is all about, and definitely what we are all about.

Advertising

As most already know we offer totally FREE advertising to both Trade and private members alike we continually seek any individuals wishing to seek or sell in any of the following categories, Vehicles [T4 –T5] Parts/Access [T4 –T5] Camping and a "Freecycle” forum to give stuff away to your fellow members all of which still remains woefully unused, this area of your forum content is open to all to view you do not require to be a member to do so, but only members can post into it, the trade will so very shortly have their own Free Advertising area in our "Shopping Mall” with all our main forum sales area being open it means that all the main search engines will pick up your ads which does two things A – it brings us lots more hits and potential members, and B- it brings more viewers to your adverts. So come on guys don’t post all your items elsewhere, post them in your own Transporter community and help us by helping yourself.

Our long awaited "Shopping Mall” feature is on track finally for completion early in the new year after a series of hick-ups and setbacks it will now definitely be going ahead as intended with a vast array of interesting, useful and keenly priced items [some with specific discounts just for our members] look out for news of this very soon after the new year also.

Submissions/Help Offered

As a members community we rely solely upon members submissions and advice being spread through our members via our meets, forum and other community activities however without a constant stream of such materials it is nigh on impossible to get and keep members interested whilst we understand many will only want a question answered now and again it is so very important that all post as much as possible as often as possible to keep the content growing and ever changing keeping up interesting streams for all types, ages and subjects in all age groups, if we don’t yet cover what you may want to see, talk about or know with-in our community do not hesitate to ask us to include it, and if used well enough after a trial period it would be included fulltime thereafter, in this way we can now grow a fully mouldable community around our members aspirations to be what they want it to be after all it is for you our members, so come on guys don’t be shy, if you have something to say? Something you would like to see added or something that you specifically think would add to our overall appeal feel free to let us know about it by simply dropping us an e-mail to vwt4@live.co.uk [heading your said mail "community suggestions”]

And last but far from least we are always in need of members starting and updating of their "Readers Rides”, "Build Guides” and other submissions they may have made previously, if you have not yet got around to completing a post in our "Introductions Forum” it is a pleasant way to introduce yourself to the community telling us a bit about yourself, your interests, where you hail from, your vehicle maybe hobbies all in a friendly sociable way adding your first name as we like to refer to each other by first names as most friendly sociable forums would surely expect.

Like most proceeding months, so then November follows it's previous cousin and will predesess its latter December we are now, a mere 40 sleeps before that day of days all parents dread, the whole country still reeling in ressesion yet our community continues to grow? Maybe we are doing something right after all! with the steady flow of both new and of course returning members continuing to both our T4 & T5 clubs alike with I'm happy to note more T5 owners now make themselves all be known! So without any further ceremonies as floods, gales and snow are ravaging our country, the ressesion, job/ benefit cuts and fuel bills are rising at an alarming rate the world is all doom and gloom yet through it all, right now today we have ------- members ---- threads and ------ overall unique page hits, all very respectable figures rarely even seen in such a small group and equally by few much larger, let alone one still not yet 2yrs old, a fact we all should be ever so proud of, long may this continue.

Community

Avid and frequent users will doubtfully note the recent addition of a completly new section to our current line-up and a few new intermidery forums added to our line up so as to make better use of current trends whilst battling to keep all technical and Transporter information where it can be easily found when required by our in built search engine.

We have got to the point where many subjects are now being repeated by some of our newer members, which is fine as we beleive we are here to help, advise and guide where we can however rather than waste our ever so valuable mbs on repeating ourselfs we would ask that All members old or new help by making use of our search function in the first instance, often the very item you are about to ask about has been extenively researched and duly covered in our forum somewhere which not only helps us overall but it also gets you an answer straight away And secondly by correctly titling and describing your subsequent threads or posts you will be aiding all searchs to find the correct information we seek making it a win - win situation for all. Next time you start a thread keep this in mind to help us to help all.

T4 - T5 Camping Club Forum

Do let me duly explain our exciting all new section and the reasons behind its creation !

It had been duly noted by those more knowledgeable it is true than myself on such matters [i have to admit not for the first time it seems] ...that now our "community" is at the point where it is effectively trying too pull itself two ways and apart at the seams! where we in trying to cover the whole of the UK have duly encountered a very few issues it would seem.

It has fast become so very apparent it seems that we have two distinct areas of interest with-in our membership - on the one hand we have the section affectionately refered to as our ever growing "Socialites" group where it has been felt for sometime now that in order to be able to expand we need to create more localised meets and on the otherwe have the sole information and reseach based member who seek the most up to date mods, tricks and How To's for their particular model all are equally important to us requiring an equal share of our overall and core resources.

Information/Resources

Our information areas are fast equally as rapidly growing now with our main research/resource library now filling up and containing some great pieces of information on a whole range of topics relevant to the ownership and maintenance of both T4 - T5 models from all years and type in a constantly added to format to enable information to be easilty sought when it is duly to then be required then just as equally is our "How To" sections in terms of all the excellent guides it duly contains our "Readers Rides" section and then the excellent "Members Build Guides" further contain a mine of both real time research materials and oddles of encouragement for all such members that wish to make use of the content with-in

Our Social Side

It is of course important to be able to encourage local members too attend area meets with the sole purpose of being able to then all befriending with other similarily interested fellow local members on a more personal level, interacting with them and being able to arrange meets that would interest the member or indeed his/her whole family enough so as to be able to attended by all on a regular basis.

These core groups it is hoped in time will grow to become one when we all would then attend at events such as BVF or Vanfest and suchlike events in the show callendar when we would all congregate for a meet with-in a meet much like we did with the Clubs meet where we all camped at BVF this past show season, which would allow us to then as a group canvas for members able to show what we are and duly what we are all about..

Our new forum then is split into the Five main areas of Scotland - England - Ireland - Wales [with Europe added just incase we decide later to do say a Cannonball Run of similar !!] All 4/5 groups which in them selves will be local area meets that will be of course organised in line with all of our other clubs meets/events attaining to all policies so at no time will any such attendee not be able to recognisable it as a one of ours...,.....Whether it be a family orientated or a adults only type meet you would know well in advance allowing you to plan which ones too duly be a part of, throughout the year.

So as to cater for all membershipees tastes equally, we will possibly have sports and other themed meets in the pipeline for this coming season, also we may if this idea works split these areas up still further in the future too better encapsulate the broader cross section of our membership dependant solely upon responces of course! And levels of attendees at any meets being the deciding factors always..The initial idea is that these new meets ideally would be monthly on the same week end in each month so effectively in an area somewhere close to you T4 - T5 Club would then always have some thing going on.

And lastly by seperating the camping side from the technical information we will it is hoped keep all the important information you need right at all your very fingertips helping our community as a whole to further expand by still supplying exactly what we all want from our online community......

Further Forum Changes

The very keen eyed will further notice our new "Work - Hobbies - Passtimes" forum in the same section designed wholly to get all to share with us all their other work & free time activeties what ever these may be and to allow some extended disussion on our other passions apart from all our respective vans of course so please as soon as this forum is fully open be sure to get down and make full use of it as it was intended.

Also newly added is our "What's It Worth" forum an area added to let all of our membership who are having to duly contemplate selling up either their van or parts and camping gear to get a non biast fair apprasial based solely on our vast knowledge allowing these items to be then placed in either our Free members for sale areas or in others in the safe knowledge it will it is hoped make at least what we think it will, whilst also giving the whole of the community the heads up on your impending sale....

Help us then to keep our community relevant and up to date by duly today posting all of your due information/ images and/or other usefull of details the more you post and participate the more current we become the more current we become the more T4 - T5 owners will want to be a part of our presense making an allround better experience for us all - together we can build a enviable resource only dreamt of elsewhere .....

Again week on week month on month our figures are rising more and more are joining us yet still few really contibute which remains both a mystery and a worry ? we can see no more really that we can do to aid this, make it more inviting or indeed help/make people contribute, we are of course very well aware others provide similar communities to our own not without their respective issues i have to add, so far none of which we have noticed or indeed suffered even on teh whole remaining a family friendly sociable community for all ages and all models of both T4 and T5 which we will continue to do whether for one or one hundred big numbers of members do not mean a big community, all it means is that either they have been here longer or had more money to advertise we offer the exact same if not more and will carry on regardless, hopefully growing still further by supplying the information toatlly free the way it was supposed to be.....

Meets

After seeing off our fourth meet and our second at Griezdale in the lakes this past weekend where all who attended had a great old time it was nice to see Stan finally at one of our meets his knowledge and wisdom was definately welcomed without a shadow of a doubt and will continue to be im sure in the coming months i beleive Charlie our Social Convenor may be attempting to organise maybe one last meet this season details will be available in our events section if it is possibe ..... Nothing is definate as yet but we hope it will come through acting as the finale to a interesting year and encouragement for all to back us through the winter months ahead of what we hope will be a busy season finding us at many of the big shows up and down the country in 2011.

The Admins managed to have a good old talk at Griezdale and part decided a format to run to at these meets which has still to be finalised but it is hoped will encapsulate all who attend and provide interest, and fun for all attendees [Anyone who has experience of operating such meets/shows or events i would dearly love to pick your brains feel free to let me know your presence by e-mailing me at vwt4@live.co.uk]

Rules & Regs Update

New rules & Regs supplement was added to our online rules and regs to cover us when we are out at meets, or attending shows and such like i would urge every member intending to attaned any of our meets to make sure they are familiar with these before attending these can be found by hitting the tab in your forum entitled Rules ....... Set to ensure everyones safety and our continued success...

Our For Sale sections seem to be slowly getting used a bit more with currently 2 vehicles for sale my very own Ice Queen and Blue Juices T4 Conversion both offering excellent value for money choices if you have a vehicle or parts for sale feel free to add your items totally Free of charge on a hold till sold basis advertised both here in our community forums and also externally via clever use of keywords and spidering domains to ensure your add is picked up in search engines also, a really good FREE and painless way to sell of your unwanted vehicles and parts/accessories we also allow a few other items to be sold or sought so why not check the garage,shed or loft today and clear out all your unwanted goods, which possibly could be anothers gold, with-in our members sales section is a forum to be green by offering unwanted items FREE on a Freecycle basis which is also FREE to make use off saving items of any type from landing in landfill sites..

Our Trade advertisisng section our Shopping Mall is currently nearing completion as i type sadly a bit behind schedule due to other constraints on our valuable time, however with the finishing touches now being put to it, we would urge ALL traders in any sort of goods, parts, accessories or services aimed at T4 -T5 Transporter drivers to get in touch to make use of our TOTALLY FREE advertising medium NO OTHER similar community offers TOTALLY FREE advertising anywhere on theri sites far less a full colour page mini website to advertise your goods/services uponwhich can be cahnged as often as youlike to showcase vehicles, specail offers or seasonal changes comes complete with full phone, web and e-mail links back to your own site/s and is avaialble to advertise any items in the categories we have set and but a few exceptions all are welcome to be a part of this new inovative and FREE service. Winter Is Coming

And do we all know it with temperatures rapidly dropping almost daily it's time to check your anti-freeze and windscreen wipers for sure, get a service maybe or put right the faults that niggeled away alls ummer before covering your machine for another winter to unveil it again in the summer, or at least it would be if you didn't drive a Volkswagen anyway as most of our Transporters are used as our everyday vehicles not many manufacturers can claim that can they however by the very nature of what that entails with more mileage more wear and more abuse it really is time to give them all a once over checking its vital stats are all fine and everything is operating as it should, in so doing if you find you have any repair jobs, or maintenance required to be carried out now is definately the time to be doing this, before any snow or ice hits our country, whilst doing so keep your notebooks and cameras in hand and help us to compile a "How To" on whatever the task is you are involved with, costs involved, tools required followed by skill level time taken and step by step photo, written steps until completed helping su to help other users coming in to our fold just think how useful guides like this would be to you, before you attempted to maintain or repair your Transporter, feel free to either add your guides direct to our "How To" section in our forums or alternatively send these direct o me at t4club@live.co.ukand i will happily add them on your behalf.

We as a community continually seek images of both your own personal Transporter/s or ones you have seen at shows, meets or just out and about, to keep our front page members role of honour constantly changing, to add to our image galleries or to help when making up editorials etc all images of all T4 & T5 models in any state or build to your immaculate show vehicles are required for these sections feel free to send us these to vwt4@live.co.ukfor inclusion ...

Finale

And to end with the team would like to thank all for your continued support, which we trust will continue on through the winter months as we all try to get past the cold, wet dark nights awaiting spring once more to get back out to more meets, events and just generally making the fullest use out of our respective vans .......

Another month has passsed our re-vamp, and other changes apparently agreeing with most, we are now concentrating upon our Shopping Mall feature which will we have live this month all is moving along as anticipated in the right way now thankfully, member activety is growing month on month as is useage making everything we now do far more worthwhile, as we progressed through this past month the Admins had our eyes firmly on our Autumn meet which has just this past weekend been to which all whom attended enjoyed and a are equally looking forward to our coming Sept meet back at Griezdale in The Lake District once more [details in our events forum as usual] and so on with another month of T4 -T5 ing ......

Events

Our next event will be back in The Lake District where we had a great meet last March and where we are again looking forward to meeting up once more around the campfire Griezdale site is in the heart of The Lake District 12 miles from Ambleside and close to Windemere and the other Lakes there-in making it an ideal location to come visit us and also do your own thing if you dont want to spend the entire weekend with us it is an excellent area for walking, cycling, watersports amongst many many more, the number of attendees to this looks to be our hieghest yet so if interested get your name down and book with the site NOW ......

Submissions

We as always seek your image and information submissions all of which help to build on our already available information and galleries sections, personal experiences and cures winning hands down over any book, manual or suchlike, all are further encouraged to start a "Build Guide" detailing your build, from start to finish which not only serves as a lasting account of your Transporter journey but also to encourage others to try it all themselves by seeing what other "normal" folk such as us have tried and managed to succeed in completing many opting for the D.I.Y route as their only real way into the very rewarding campervan - day/ surfbus ownership ranks, so come on guys, send us what you have for adding today to vwt4@live.co.uk

That's right you read that tiutle right we from day one have offerd FREE for sale/wanted advertising to all our members whether to sell or seek your ultimate Transporter or parts there for we openly encourage all to make use of this section with-in our forums, on a use it or loose it basis, some say our forums are to big, to long and to lengthy to this end The For Sale section takes up a lot of space and will be removed next month if not made better use off, so why not give it a try today you have nothing to loose and a great deal to gain from it ......

As all our members will undoubtedly now notice our site upgrading process after a few hitches worked remarkably well, i can now confirm that it was a bit touch and go and undoubtedly took a bit longer than first expected however with the community and forum we now have it was worth the wait.

Many changes have been made to both the overall design, concept and running of our entire online presence, by so doing it is hoped we have managed to iron out mosy of the glitches, annoyances and such like that have plauqed our community over the preceeding months, some issues are outwith our control to remedy however i should also take this oppurtunity to add that several other forum and website software will be getting trialled over the coming months with a veiw to a possible future complete change in hosts/suppliers but it should be stressed one of the main reasons this was not carried out this or any other time problems occured was quite simple most major changes of this sort would mean we would loose ALL forum posts, all threads and a great deal of our websitee knowledge built up over the now 2 + years we have been online a simple matter i am not willing to allow, we have worked hard at finding answers building thsi community and shaping it the way we want it so the thought of starting all over again from scratch simply fills us with horror hense remedies have always previously been sourced from with-in not to say we will never move over to a better more functionable site/community/forum just not anytime soon least untill a way of saving our built up knowledge base a completely...

Forum

Our main forum content has been moved around, some forums have been removed, some added and some simply moved in order of importance in the list, to hopefully make the whole forum experience more intuative, easier to use, and take part in with the most used areas nearer the top, with-in this process we have pruned back some areas and removed posts that have no relevance to a forum, or moved them to where they have, in an overall tidying up of our forum area, which will help our search facility to find posts, it is off course hoped that members will make use of this function before posting thus saving our main members myself included from having to answer the same questions over and over again with this in mind we have added a basics forum where basic information of the typr frequently asked of us will reside you know the type of thing "where is my bonnet catch" or "where is my vin plate" type questions in an attempt at only having to answer such queries once

Members

A few of us continue to contribute over and above what is expected which keeps us evolving day on day month on month you know who you are and once again i salute those members, whilst asking once again for EVERY member making use of our community to consider that without members contributions/participation we would not be here, we are after all a members community where ALL members are supposed to participate fully in every area possible thus growing our information and equally our community, making it far more attractive to new members, this said in our recent upgrading process all members will notice changes in their accounts and their privelages as we now revert back to the original untouched system which does so reward users who are using our community and not those who dont, with this in mind we revert to our original those who particiapte gain more from the overall community presence "the fair way"

Some forums are now locked to some members this is to enable the more indepth more precise knowledge to be offered only to those willing to add to our overall content in this way rewarding those who particpate, those who put in the hours, days, weeks and months service to keep this community moving forwards essentially from now on if you wish to have full access, to be able to make full use of everything we supply then you need to participate simple as that .....

Events

T4 - T5 Club is not only about online knowledge and fact building oh no!!! it's also about being out there at shows, events and club meets throughout the country with the aim of also building up our social side recently visiting BVF The British Volkswagen Festival in Malvern which was a roaring success netting us a few new members and a lot of interest from both trade and private owners alike with those who attended our club satnd there still on a high its with great pleasure that we announce two up and coming meets for ALL members of our community this time both just club meets though..

Barns Farm Peak District 27th-29th August - Which will be a totally new meet area and location for us however ity is hoped to possibly make this a permanent one if as we suspect it is found to cater to our needs..

Greizdale Lake District 24th-26th September - Yet again we return to Griezdale camping a site Chas our social convenor picked for us and which supplied us with a great venue for our first ever club meet back in March this is an Admin - Community meet which it is hoped as many as possibly will this time attend where many items will be on the agenda from admin decisions to silly games and a whole lot more besides ....

Full details fixutre lists and a lot more besides can be found in our EVENTS forum within our main forum content please ensure if you are intending coming to either meet that you make it known in its particular forum so we can alert the site owners as to a final tally count for each ...

For now that seems to be it guys, other than to ask all to make full use of all we supply lets spend the rest of this year getting our house fully in order ahead of a full callendar of events next season by which time we will be both well equipped and able to take on the best ........

Another glourious month over, a few milestones passed, and a club moving forward well month on month i think is the best description to sum up all that we have acheived in this rapidly moving month!! i beleive it would be fair to say....

EVENTS

BVF

As many will already be aware the Admin and a few members attended BVF [British Volkswagen Festival] this past weekend, and had a blast our own small friendly mini show with-in a show as they say, with ALL off our crew taking part in the legendary "Runfart" through the villiages surrounding Malvern and The Three Counties Showground, for our part in it headed by off course our Social Sec Chas, followed by Rob our Sec [and Mandie] along with members Glen and Ann showing as it goes in some cases better than some far greater and larger clubs, as was the case on our campground also, [our over all display given that it was our very first] was all in all a massive success, a few lessons learnt [like watch Chas carefully with his new purchases, it was worth going just to video his putting up of his sun canopy] the overall experience off all attending was fantastic making us further beleive the way forward for this club is working to the Ethos we have always maintained since day one!! that being small is beautiful and fun - free - friendly winning the day YET AGAIN... my due thanks and praise to both Chas & Rob for the organisation involved whilst i was sunning myself in France and to all who attended for making our very first BIG show a really resounding success.....

We are already thinking/planning another similar eve

nt before the end off the summer months and pre our September meet in Griezdale.... Details shall follow as soon as anything is finalised meanwhile if you have any suggestions feel free to air them in our Events forum, off where we could show, or hold an event in the future etc...

Forum

Our forums are once more getting better use i am happy to announce!! with more subjects being covered each and every day/week/month which after all is the point of them, we openly encourage ALL to contribute to the overall content of our forums which it is duly hoped will slowly grow into a veritable array off information relative to the owning, driving and custom building and of course running of your chosen model.... All types of maintenance, upgrading, customising and general service operations it is hoped will be submitted by our members in due course, so be sure no matter how big or how small that job is that you keep a pen & paper, along with your camera handy to record the whole event to later post as a how to in the relative "How To" forum, think how useful it would be if a "How To" already existed to help you with your current maintence or upgrade.

A few minor behind the scenes upgrades and changes will be getting made over this coming week 5th - 12th off July to enable a better, faster and more reliable system for us all to enjoy, NONE off these changes should effect the general use nor enjoyment off your T4 -T5 Club, if you notice anything different please PM me direct and do not post unessesary "This doesn't work" etc posts on our forums Thanx ...

Shopping Mall

Our Shopping Mall is nearing completion as i write this months Transporter Talk, simply awaiting final sign offs from some of the companies involved in the advertising there-in, we hope to thus be able to bring to you by mid July some very special deals and discounts designed for OUR MEMBERS from some of the TOP VW T4 - T5 companies from around the country

Memberships

All members with NIL activety as off Noon on the 31st off each month will now be religiously downgraded to that of guests in keeping with our membership registration rules and regs so as to bew able to ensure that those who help, contribute and join in with our events, and online offerings reamin getting the fullest access to all that we supply, so be sure to mainatin the at least twice monthly contribution rule to ensure you continue as a Silver member with access to most things we supply or keep supplying us with relative information, posts and other interesting factual accounts to be upgraded to Gold membership...

It is once again holiday, show and exploration time for many of us where our trusty T4 or T5 will play a major part in the process whether taking us on holiday, to a show or out and about to partake in our chosen sport or activety, we want to hear about it all, all the details, all the holiday snaps a warts and all account of your travels in one of many forums with-in our main forum content where we would love to hear about it all, i will be compiling my own account on our recent trip to France to show the good and bad points of such a trip as we saw it, which we hope will enlighten some ......

As always your images and videos are sought to add to our current content to build up a library of both for future guests and members alike to enjoy, showing as many models as is humanely possible in as many guises, places and situations, being used for as many purposes as is possible either privately or for business, along the way!! all are off course welcome, all images submitted will be added to our rolling image scroller on our front page, along with being added to either our T4 or T5 "Show Us Yours" forum ....

We all enjoy a good read, especially when that read contains details of a new exciting and innovative T4 or T5 build!! either in progress or likewise completed, so like myself why not gain the praise your personal creation truly deserves, why not start a build guide today in the relative forum and detail your build from purchase to completion either bit by bit or when completed either way building into a lasting account off your T4/T5 journey and encouraging others to follow suit..
