This Motorhome has been modernised throughout with the fitting of newer syle indicators its side stripes removed and a bonnet bra fitted however all are eaily and quickly removable again to leave an original Auto-Sleeper once more, nothing is not easily irriversible, and parts are here to do so with, [excluding the side stripes which are still obtainable from Auto-Sleeper parts dept] May reckon she looks eaily 10 years newer by having done this along with the Irish plate making her look far newer.... Parked in your driveway nobody would ever know its true vinatge if you did not want them to, that's Auto-Sleeper's quality along with Volkswagens great bodies making a superb combination....

A lesson to be learnt here DO NOT RELY ON FRIENDS i have never been so mucked about or made to feel like in all honesty a total conman in my life [all untrue obviously] and all over a 10p washer!!!!!

I knew i had a rule of NOT SELLING TO FRIENDS for a reason needless to say the person had been deleted from our lives.. Please people head the warning and do not end up in the same place i was yesterday ....

@ Rob and no T5 Robster at least not just now my health has taken a hammering this past winter so i am retiring im afraid to concentrate on getting better wacko

Absolutely NOT my days of T4's Motor homes, and campers are well and truly over buddy will miss her though sad really we finally get what we want/need and it all has to end isnt life a ******** only going to prove that make sure you enjoy it whilst you can as you simply never know, but the journey on the most part was educational and fun so worthwile biggrin

At home just now but lots going on next week re -tests, then out of action for a week or so [recovering] house inspection this very afternoon biggrin so busy busy busy this moving lark is very time intensive no time for anything else but looks like its well and truly happening [finally] and i cant wait [the move itself and the first 3-4 weeks i could see far enough] but the new life, new [brilliant hospital] and the queit, peacefull NO NEIGHBOURS [bar 1] really massively make it all worth while [i tell you what guys if you want to make silly money do removals its just insane what they want to move us 150mls] lwb - hi top box van anyone ?? biggrin

Just as a matter of interest why would i need a synchro ??? cool

For all the snow that will dump itself on your doorstep within the next four weeks. You are bound to run out of coffee at some point in the winter mate. biggrin

Em its a well know geologigal fact buddy that when one lives with the sea on his doorstep one is rather unlikely to get ANY snow let alone snow that is to worry about during last years mess in Scotland the particular area surrounding the new house had NO SNOW to speak off, so doubt i will be running out to buy a Synchro or a Landy for that matter anytime soon biggrin cool i might however be tempted to buy a quad our similar sand buggy for getting from the house the 30 or so yards down the road to the beach with the dog and more importantly back up the hill ..... [the only downfall in its rather elevated position ... lol not sure what we will be driving now sold the Smart yesterday had them queing up to buy to be honest from Brighton to Glasgow and from Stirling to Manchester seriously it must have been way to cheap a dealer from Brighton was willing to pay into my paypal account there and then sadly not enough though biggrin but its going to a Glasgow couple that i am happy about .... So just the Atastraphy to go now and then the awkward choosing of a new vehicle seriously dont know what to get this time as it looks highly likely that i will be unable to drive it shortly anyway big desisions ........ personally a big Jag estate in desiel with all the toys, auto and cruise would suit nicely but for all the mileage it will do its hardly worth it so it at the end of the day will be up to Yvonne to choose what she wants as she will be the driver surprised

Our Astrophy has now been passed on to me now wifey has her new little car. It will shed some miles from the T4 for a while.
Snow on the east coast was never shy of the sea while I was growing up though.... maybe the west coast is warmer. biggrin

Defo bro it will not be an issue i can assure you, besdides us Scots are NOT shy of a bit of snow its you southerners that get in a flap at the slightest signs of it, we carry on as was you lot grind to a halt, we up here love the winter weather/news reports especially when there is snow about its like a comedy watching you all panic with a miliscule amount having dropped whilst we manage in feet of the stuff it's all great entertainment for us for sure. i had seen/read somewhere admittedly that we were [the whole country mind not just Scottyland] supposed to be getting snow from this month onwards what do we say BRING IT ON ....... we can handle it can you ???? biggrin cool

As for the Atrastraphy want another i seriously have never had the misfortune to own such a garbage car in all my driving years NEVER [and that includes rotten, knackered minis by the way biggrin of which o had several] this time around as i wount be driving much if at all we will be going for something luxurious, slow, frugal on fuel, with as many toys as possible a T5.5 Caravelle or Exec would be nice but drastically to rich for us so unless we win the lottery sometime soon it is most likely just going to be another run of the mill everyday machine i tell you what has grabbed my attention is the new Skoda Fabia VRS [or whatever its called] maybe an Octavia VRS might fit the bill? and i also like the look of the Insignia as well but defo not another 3 dr unable to be seen out of Atastraphy thats for sure .......
