It is sir chasney of course the wheels are 15" so obviously the tyres have to be tutherwise they wouldnt fit ???? the outside diameter is determined by what profile tyre is used at least that is my understanding of it all ???

Jim check out our tyre sizer doofer in our wheels/tyres section and you will find the answers

There are two type of standard size 15 inch & 16 inch if you read the tyre sidewall you will find the code 195/70/R 15

195 = the tyre width
70 = the hight of the sidewal
R 15 - the wheel Tyre Rim size

in the case of 16 id expect something like 205/65/R 16
