The British Volkswagen Festival (BVF), is an event run by a dedicated team of volunteer VW enthusiasts. Over the last 25 years it has grown to be one of the premier VW events for the true enthusiast and their families, attracting owners of both air and water-cooled vehicles.
The show combines the very best in Trade Stands, Autojumble, Show & Shine, Vehicle Displays and entertainment to provide a fantastic weekend for all the family.
Take part in the famous Rundfahrt or relax and enjoy the FREE entertainment. Whatever you decide to do over the weekend you're sure to enjoy the atmosphere of the best enthusiasts show of the year!
21st & 22nd July 2012
The weekend starts with visitors intending to camp for the weekend arriving from 2pm on Friday 20th July 2012. Please note that the gates to the showground are closed between midnight and 9am.
Saturday and Sunday are the show days with a large number of activities and events taking place. For the younger visitors to the show there is a free creche, clown shows, balloon modelling and a circus workshop running on both days.
Whats on?
Special Display
Every year we have a special display which shows off a particular vehicle or group of vehicles from the VW stable. Last year the Volkwagen Owners Club of Great Britain and the Type 2 Owners Club provided a great selection of vehicles to admire. This year the VWOCGB is back again along with the Corrado Club.
FREE Entertainment
One of the main attractions for those camping over the weekend is the FREE entertainment with a live group and disco each night providing a friendly party atmosphere to suit all ages and tastes. Friday night you'll be entertained by "Flash Back" and Saturday night is "Back to Miami"!
Show & Shine
On Saturday the Daily Users Class battle it out for best driven VW at the show and on Sunday the show cars compete in Concours D'Elegance and Customer Concours classes.
"Rundfahrt"
Saturday Evening and its time for the legendary cruise around Malvern. Some 100+ vehicles take to the streets of Great Malvern with locals lining the roads enjoying the vw scene we love so much!

With all the major traders turning up for the weekend your sure to find the bargain your looking for.

Dates for 2012
As some of the eager eye'd amongst us would of noticed the show dates for this year are later in July than previous years! Read on to find out just why we've had to move..
This year with the dates for BVF 2012 falling on the 7th and 8th of July we clashed with a major new show which may not have been good for both shows. After discussion with the other show they had no intention of moving and we were left with a dilema. Go head to head or find another date in July that worked for us and the team of volunteers who put BVF together each year.
So, thats where we are, 21st and 22nd of July 2012! A new date for a new look BVF. We're working hard this year and changing a few things around and giving the show and much cosier feel and using the available showground space more effectively. Yes all camping is on site and yes it'll still be a family friendly show so why not get on and book your tickets for this years show now!

Rob are you getting the same size pitch ?
If we can find a cat sitter we might come down for a day of it we shall see how my health is around then and whether Travelodge or whatever will take us and the dog? as this will not be long after getting our new car so a nice drive for it at least

Hi Dug the pitch sizes are based on the amount of vehicles booked against the club so the more that book the bigger the pitch.
Last year the Brick Yard had the pitch we had the year b4 & we had a pitch round the corner as we only had the two vans but as you know by the pics we still filed it
As you probably recal you can always ebter as a day visitor on either day sat or sun plus this year our camp will have some more walls to guard agains any wind & if all goes to plan I have a little addition to our equipment itinery more on that to come soon

BVF Booking Details
Weekend Passes £30 per person allows you entry to the show on any day from Friday through to Sunday & includes entrance to all the entertainment.
Day Ticket £10 per person allows you entry to the show from 9am till 6pm on either Saturday or Sunday.

To link your booking to the club you will need the following password t4-t5vansandcampers & select the club name in the drop down box like so
on the next page you will see you booking refrence b4 you select your method of payment please make a note of this refrence number should ther be any problems with you booking then i can rectify it imeadiatly using this refrence number.
Once you have booked I will receive imidiate notification of your booking & should I not recognise the names on the booking then I shall not hesitate to cancell the booking but only after I have not had confirmation via this website.
Once booked please copy & paste & attach your name to our list of attendies.

So some may be wondering who the show is that has caused BVF to change it dates
Camper Jam
Though personally I think its a better date as the schools pack up on Friday 20th July so this should bring more familys so be warned if you are Club Camping as the roads will be extra busy

Guys n Gals if you wish to turn up but wont be able to leave the decision till late then dont treat too much, we can accomodate you as long as we dont get a sudden rush after the final booking date.
The pitches are allocated on the size of the bookings & even a small pitch can accomodate a few sudden late arrivals just let me know before you turn up so we can leave space & supply a contact number so you can find us on the day, the prices will be a wee bit more on the gat but is is still possible to get on the club camping plot after the final booking date.

But NOT as i beleive it after the show actually starts as they clearly state youmcant drive about the showground unless in an emergency situation so like we did the time we were there we walked in and joined the guys for the day and are again trying to do this year

you can use ganny up to 9pm i beleive & you can have a bbq so if it looks like one then you will get away with it, which reminds me i need to make a grill for the fire pit.
we did use a bbq to keep warm last year & chas smoked us all out cooking his dinner.
though we did spot one guy with a fire of which is forbidden in the rules.

you may get away with it as a bbq with something to catch the hot coals alternatvly bring the grill ive got a washing machine drum in the back of my van & i know chas has one of those pits & a bbq.
we did use the bbq last year as mands was cold as usual, hopefully this year i will have the sides to the shelter by the time it rolls round.
