Unless they are abused I think they are pretty good, most cars are today. you dont see many rusty cars about............with the amount of salt they have blathered on the roads they should all look like lace curtains. smile

Funny you should say that Stan. Spotted one in Sainsbury's car park here last week with half a sheet of 8X4 unprimed and just tack welded to the side. They had not even made the effort to bend it to the contours of the van. Not a well loved motor! I remember the old Mk 1 trannys with all the stress cracks in the cab floors. Was forever welding those up. wacko
