Hi there, anyone have a cure for driver/passenger windows squeeking when you wind them up?? Not mechanical, seems to be on the window rubbers. Fine half the way up but after that gives out an awful squeeking sound-not very cool! windows are manual not electric. Any ideas??? Cheers, Spike

There is a can of spray you can buy for lubricating the windows I used to have sticky windows on my ol astra so always kept it in the boot, just remember it when your out in your nice cloths though not nice when you go out to a club whith window lube on your nice shirt.
Wd 40 would do short term but only on the rubbers spraying it into the channel as if it gets on the actual windows its a sod to get off, and difficult to see through when wet

Yeah I'm not surprised, silicone spray is what you need.
I've found the squeak can come from the winding handle where it meats the door card. also make sure the rubber for the inside of the window is pushed all they way onto the door card. mine was hanging off a bit and caused the window to jam a bit.
