Would be interesting to see exactly what happened to the other one. They are not usual suspects for a seizure. Let the transplant begin! biggrin

Well well well after all that it was 1 10mm bolt that's worked loose and got trapped in between the timing belt and bottom pulley that seems to be the problem I reckon iv found that it's broken the woodruff key and the belts slipped pictures to be sent later what a bummer!!!

I once had an Astra GTE of which i loved to bits as it was basically a road legal go cart but upon furthore inspection i started to notice some problems with it, one was under a strobe light when i noticed the crankshaft pulley shaking like mad so i ended up replacing it for a new one, what a sod of a job anyways this was the triggar to my beleiving it had had a seroiuse front ender in its past life.

That's what Ultimate had mine for six weeks for. Apparently bits broke when they dismantled it and they had to apply by carrier pidgeon to a guy called Norman in Budapest who only works every third tuesday afternoon to carve one from a block of steel a mile high using only the rough end of a plastic toilet brush.
My fault for having such a rare van! biggrin

We were talking of doing Lake Gwynant in Snowdonia around the 20th. Has to be finalised though.
Those ball joints are fun. I have a top one to do. Lots of heat and a puller needed for those.

Yea the annoying thing is iv already replaced all of them they have only done 150 miles :-/ it only the lower one iv got it out already I'm so happy how it's running fingers crossed and very happy the rev counter works the only down side is I for got to take the bulb out that lights up the gear selector for when it was an auto!! Still I'd rather have that and an engine that runs lol looking forward to the road test maybe tomorrow then I just need to prime it so it's all one colour
